- Earned Ph.D. from the University of Kansas, M.S. from the University of Massachusetts, B.S.B.A. from the University of Nebraska
- Worked at various sports organizations including the Green Bay Packers, Harvard Athletics, the LPGA Tour/IMG Golf and the Lincoln Stars
- Served on the marketing faculty in the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University prior to joining Benedictine College
- Teaches courses in all aspects of marketing, including but not limited to consumer behavior, marketing strategy, digital marketing and sport marketing
- Focuses research on the sport industry/sport marketing, with particular emphasis on cause-related sport marketing and corporate social responsibility in sport
- Published research in academic journals including Sport Marketing Quarterly, the International Journal of Sport Marketing and Sponsorship, the Journal of Applied Sport Management and the Harvard Journal of Sport and Entertainment Law
- Presented research at conferences including the American Marketing Association (AMA), the North American Society for Sport Management (NASSM) and Sport Marketing Association (SMA)
